Charitable fiction that gives real-world education? Ollie deserves his own series.

That was just delightful John!!! I can see Ollie being here to stay. ‘Charitable Fiction’ is a new term to me, but you displayed it well. Very heartfelt with some good messages without being cloying or preachy. I think this little guy should have a children’s TV show- with lots of good points for any parents watching too!!! Nice!!! 👌

Due diligence is ever-important. For fun, I recently typed "Ollie the Quokka Ranger" into my Google browser to hopefully guarantee originality. When you develop your creativity honestly, it's esay to think you're being original. But the world is a massive place, and the Internet is in fact a great place to see if others are thinking along the same lines. So...I discovered that "Ollie the Quokka Ranger" is original, BUT "Ollie the Quokka" already exists. I'm happy to note that "Ollie" was a great name for my quokka, and I must respect those creators who put that name and description together first. Common courtesy. Creative respect. Also, I do not wish to open myself to any unintended copyright infringements. As a result, I decided to replace "Ollie" with "Rooey" for my quokka character. "Roo" comes from "kangaroo," and the "ey" maintains the second half of "Ollie" with different spelling to boot. This admission may be a reminder to us all: be as creative as possible, and be sure to check the Internet for creations that may be similar if not nearly or totally exact. Everyone's doing their best. Let's cheer for all creatives. Thank you for your attention and consideration. Here's a link to "Ollie the Quokka" in its initial form:
