You bring an incredible thoughtfulness and humanity to this substack writing thing!! Ironically, I remember admiring one of your AI images and being impressed at how it captured the feel of the tale. But I like the thinking behind your change of heart. I must go and have a look now!!
Cheers John! Always good to keep reexamining ourselves and our paths!!! Xxx 😘
Thank you, Mary. Your thoughtful comment on my original puffin image influenced my thinking for the better. I was always somewhat unsure of using AI-generated images, and then the more I thought about it, the more I realized that if I strongly advocate for people-writing, I need to also fully endorse people-imaging. And you’re right about “reexamining ourselves and our paths.” I feel like I’m evolving in surprising ways. By the way, I’m still loving Helena! 😁
Yip! Just checked out your new photos! Big yes!!! Dare I say, in contradiction of compliments I gave the previous AI, that the new photos are great!! They give a dignity to the voices you’re using. Yes! When we give an animal a voice, we don’t need to ‘disneyise’ it into a cartoon image. There’s more to animal’s voices and rights than Disney stereotypes.
Definitely thank you for being that girl. You’re super helpful. 😊 So it turns out the navigation buttons only appear on the website and not the app. 🤔 I’m hoping the new pics freshen up the content and help to celebrate the photographers for caring like they do. It’s always great to hear from you, Anne-Marie! 😁
I’m really glad we connected, and I enjoy your work. I feel lucky too. 🙂 I’ll check out the settings to see about the navigation buttons. Thanks for letting me know! 👍
I really like this post. It's always interesting to hear writers talk about their process.
Thank you, Jason. I appreciate your support. Also, I’m on the lookout for your next WIP! 👀 🙂

Wonderful to hear, thank you so very much!!
That’s so thoughtful! I love that you did that 🖤
Thank you so much, Genechelle. I always appreciate your support!
I don't want to be that girl, but I don't see a previous button at the bottom of this post?
I do really like the idea, though, John ❤️
The pictures are gorgeous

I’m on my computer, though?
I do love a great picture!
I’m lucky to have you in my Substack’s friend, John.
